Dentists usually have the most difficult time of participating on MMR projects.  Due to the length in time of our projects, most dentists cannot participate.  It asks a lot of a dentist to be gone for two weeks.  85% of all dentists are in private practice.  We understand that if you are not working, it is costing you money.  It is truly a sacrifice for you to be on the field.  For that, we can't thank you enough for being willing to assist. Know this, your time spent on the field WILL help field personnel take steps closer to their goals of seeing disciples made and churches planted.

Because of this, we have asked several dentists who have participated on MMR teams to provide us with some tips and ideas of how to get "free" to participate.  Here are some of there thoughts.

Because dental work requires a lot of tools and supplies, we will work with you to do the best we can to get as much as we can on the field.  In many locations, however, little to no dental supplies are available locally. To that end, we will have included a special "dental" section within our orientation material to assist you.

If you are interested in participating on a medical project with MMR, please use the "Sign Up!" form to let us know about you.  We will ask you to fill out an MMR application.  Part of that application will be the necessity to get other documents from you.  We will need a scanned copy of these items:

• First two pages of your passport
• A copy of your current CV
• Copies of your diplomas
• Copies of your medical license
